I am fairly frequently getting the following problem: I run some program (or do some hose cleaning) which requires using both disk drives. Thus I eject my system disk. Then, for some reason or other (it happens in a lot of different circumstances -- I have not found any pattern to it) the Mac asks for the system disk to be put back in (this is usually a reasonable request at this point). Now the error message starts getting blurry on the edges, and suddenly the text disappears. The disk in the drive is ejected, but the system disk is not accepted. I have to reboot to get started again. I thought that maybe this could be related to the Programmer's Switch sticking, but that does not seem to be the problem. My system is 3.2, Finder 5.3, standard Mac+ with Apple external 800K drive, no hard disk. Any ideas?
