Oops. Well, first, I will send those collected messages of complaint against MacUser's mailing service on June 15th, as I promised. However, mine won't be among them. I finally, on seeing my friends recieve both MACUSER and MACWORLD for June, went crazy, and called up both of the "hotline" services about my subscription. Called MACWORLD up first, and they were EXTREMELY pleasant. As it turned out, someone at Fluke was getting MACWORLD (our Library, I think), was getting my issue delivered as well as theirs, thought they were getting two issues, and asked to have the subscriptions merged. Without telling me, of course (the PC person at Fluke is Jeff BEYER -- they probably thought it was addressed to him). Ha ha ha. Anyway, MACWORLD was happy to credit my account for two issues; they re-instated my subscription, and even offered to send me back issues. I really have to hand it to them; they were immensely helpful. Then called MACUSER. They don't have my addressed changed/cancelled, but I suspect that the Library is just keeping my issue along with theirs. Again, offers to send back issues, subscription credited two issues. Very pleasant. I had been sending your notes to both companies, but nothing seemed to be happening, so I called. Maybe this will help you also. The subscription help numbers are: MACWORLD: (800) 525-0643 MACUSER: (800) 622-8737 (MAC-USER) Again, I will send the complaint list out, except that I will append that things have been fixed on my end.
