Hello, This is my first posting! I hope there is someone out there who can help with a problem I have. We are developing a program at the SDSU biology department. The development system is LightSpeed C of course. What we would like to do is implement pallettes. You know those windows that always stay on top of all the rest. Our window uses the List Manager to allow selection of icons much like MacPaint's tools pallette. This works well for our purpose. I'll tell you what I do know; there are routines SendBehind, CalcVisRgn, and a system global GhostWindow that will probably be used in any solution. Getting these to work without a desk accessory window seems to be quite easy, however when a system window is active and a document window is selected the strangest thing happens. If there are three document windows each can appear to overlap the other two! Similar to the way you might fold the top flaps of a cardboard box closed. I know this is a rough description of the problem, but if anyone has tackled this I'm sure they know what I'm talking about. Thanks for any help offered.
