I want to buy a small power amplifier to drive auxiliary speakers in locations where quality is less important than it would be in a "serious" listening room, such as the basement and the kitchen. My requirements are: 1. Reliability. It shouldn't break, and if it does, it should be possible to get it fixed. 2. It must drive 4-ohm loads. I would be even happier if it would drive 2-ohm loads. I expect 50 w/ch would be enough. 3. The less it costs, the better. The fewer controls it has, the better. I expect it to sit in a closet somewhere and be largely ignored. Any recommendatations?
