I have been using WriteNow as a wordprocessor on the mac. In my (humble) opinion it's one of the best (and only release 1.0!). My question deals with the use of the dictionary. The one I have is "filled" with the English vocabulary, and occupies approx. 80K. I would like to create a different dictionary, which contains words from the Dutch language. Ofcourse I can just add new words to the existing dictionary, but it would double it's size (plus allow strange mistakes!). Is there someone around, who knows how to create a new dict. file, or how to delete (part of) the contents of an existing dictionary? Thanks in advance. jcrc@ihlpg.ATT.COM asked about a Dutch WriteNow dictionary. I tried to mail a response, but ihlpg knows no user jcrc. Anyway: There exists a WriteNow Dutch dictionary, which I saw in use last week at IPO (Eindhoven, Netherlands). IPO is a Philips/Technical University Eindhoven laboratory, so jcrc should have the possibility of contacting them (try ...!mcvax!nlgvax!philipo!root and ask for Carl--I don't know his own login) They should know where one can be found. -- Martin Taylor {allegra,linus,ihnp4,floyd,ubc-vision}!utzoo!dciem!mmt {uw-beaver,qucis,watmath}!utcsri!dciem!mmt mmt@zorac.arpa Magic is just advanced technology ... so is intelligence.
