Greetings - I have TML Pascal version 2.0 and I have run into some problems. As I know this has been around awhile, I figured that someone would be able to clue me in. Please e-mail your responses as I suspect that most people are on to more advanced things by now. First question - is there a way to set things up so that a program running from a specific disk can verify that it is running on a particular Mac? In particular, I have a lab w/10 Macs in it and I would like to restrict certain applications to certain machines. I would like a start-up application that could ask who the user is and verify that it is running on (say) Mac #7. If all was well, the program would then hand things over to the Finder. Is this possible? How would you go about doing this? I am running a mixed collection of 512s, Pluses and (soon) a couple of SEs. Second - the TML example program boxes.pas bombs. Everything compiles fine, but when the program is run, it opens a window with Boxes at the top and then dies. This happens on both a Plus and a 512 and strikes me as most deviant for an example program! Has anyone else had this problem? What was the fix? I have a LaserWriter Plus and would love to be able to print out my programs on it directly. However, I get a bomb when I try to print from the Editor. Is there a fix for this? Thanks for your help... Cheers... Jim Jenal (aka ...!scgvaxd!mss!jpj) Mayfield Senior School ( " ...!ihnp4!mss!jp!a
