Dating an article ahead of its time is very easy. Consider the following: TZ=EST-29 postnews The -29 (instead of my normal 5) causes date to return the current time/date corrected to GMT that is 24 hours in advance. The localtime(3c) does not check for valid range of numeric fields in TZ.
