[comp.sys.mac] File flag bit meanings

hughes@endor.harvard.edu (Brian Hughes) (07/19/87)

I see that files have various bits set in the FInfo flags
word, such as invisible, bozo(!), etc. I cannot find a definition
for any of these bits except invisible and bundle in IM I-IV. Could
someone please tell me where these bits are documented (Tech Note x ?) ?

Thanks in advance.

Let x=40.

Tech Note 40 has a 1-line description of these bits. Make sure you have the
Tech Note version dated March 2, 1987. Earlier version had 2 of the bit
swapped.
