However, one person did send back a note that there was enough address lines for 16MBit chips ( * 8 = 128 MBytes). My apologies to him for losing his address. I eventually borrowed a Multisync and made my own cable. Disk news: The recent report on a 20 Meg SCSI from MacConnection prompted me to try to call them. As of today they are out of stock, but they hope to have it in within a day or two (their supplier had already shipped them). They said that it would NOT work with a MacII (but would with a SE). They also asked me to call back tomorrow, saying they may have the software fix to get it working w/ a MacII. *VERY* helpful people. Personal Computer Center has had a promotion on 30 Meg Drives for $699 (contact Craig Toft at 213 214 1501). However, they ran out of stock over the weekend. They will take back orders. Mention my name if you call him. - mike ps: I have no connections with any of the above companies except as coustomer or possible coustomer to be (ie: I need a disk drive!). newton@csvax.caltech.edu {ucbvax!cithep,amdahl}!cit-vax!newton Caltech 256-80 818-356-6771 (afternoons, nights) Pasadena CA 91125 Beach Bums Anonymous, Pasadena President Life's a beach.
