Levco just announced a bug on AppleLink concerning an incompatibility between older MonsterMacs, both clip on and solder on, and Prodigy 4's, and very old 128K RAM & 512K RAM, and system 4.1/Finder 5.5. The problem occurs when you run a program that uses hierarchal menus; when you try to access a sub menu you can wait a long time for it to show up. This problem does not occur with any other Levco product (128K to 512K upgrade, Prodigy Prime, Prodigy SE, OnePlusOne or Levco SIMM upgrades. It does not occur if the original Mac is an MacPlus or SE. If you have an upgraded 128K Mac or 512K Mac and the above problem occurs you can either mail a diskette to Levco for an init file that patches the problem or do the following with Resedit: 1). Create a file called "MenuInit" in the System folder with type "INIT" and creator "MACS" 2) Create a resource of type "INIT" and ID = 0. 3) Place the following hex coded in the file 08B8 0006 0B22 4E75. [that's zero eight "B" eight, zero zero zero six, zero "B" two two, four "E" seven five.] That's it
