Ashton-Tate announced today that DBase Mac will be shown at Boston Macworld and ship by the end of August. The delay was attributed to performance enhancements and an improved interface, including Macintosh II support. The 3-sentence press release was unusually terse. One of the A-T guys has written a musical construction set using DBase, with each note a data base record (I haven't seen it, but it's implied that the data base can play and print the melody.) Hope they show that in Boston. -- Joel West, (c/o UCSD) Palomar Software, Inc., P.O. Box 2635, Vista, CA 92083 {ucbvax,ihnp4}!sdcsvax!jww jww@sdcsvax.ucsd.edu
