Anyone with access to Bitnet and from thereon to Relay and who has never heard of the _weekly_ interactive Mac Conference there, m}iight wanna give it try. The Mac Channel (# 512) has been going on for quite some time now and has established some sort of reputation among the Macintosh/Bitnet users. Topics vary (even per session) but they always include the latest on new software/hardware and is -in general- just plain fun. If all the links are active, you have the chance to communicate with Macintosh users _all over the world_ and for absolutely no charge. (That is, if your Bitnet login costs you nothing :). Ppl that have access to Bitnet but are unfamiliar with Relay should contact their system operator. If your Bitnet host is an IBM, you should TELL RELAY@<name of relayhost> /signup <your true_to_life name> TELL RELAY@<name of relayhost> /signon <nickname> TELL RELAY@<name of relayhost> /help But your system operator should be able to tell you more. The Mac Channel is on every tuesday at 23:00 Central Europe Time (subtract 6-9 hrs for US, depending on your location).
