I have a game that I would like very much to play with several users similtaneously. It is not necessary that the mac "think" more than one mouse is moving the cursor at any time: only that each user have an equal ability to control the cursor. I've tried simply creating a cable the spliced four mice into the mouse port. This did not work very well. the mac acted as though the mouse button was down all the time. The movement of the cursor was also less pronounced than if just one mouse were being used. I've seen trackballs and joysticks working similtaneously on a single mac, so I know something like this is possible. Does anyone have any ideas? I will be in the market for 4 used mice/joysticks or trackballs if I can get this to work.
