We are re-installing our Appletalk network to a new location. In order to make the work easier we were thinking of extending the transiever cables several meters (i.e. the cable from the connector box to the Mac). According to Inside Appletalk the length of the cable is (exactly) some .43 m. Does anybody know how sensitive the Appletalk is to the length of the transiever cable? Any experiences? Our Appletalk network consists of 10-20 Macs, a LaserWriter and a FastPath gateway. Thank you in advance. Juha Jahkola Helsinki University of Tech, Lab. of Information Proc. Sc.
