1) whatever happened to Novy and Ryad, who both came out with 68020 add-ons before the SE and II were announced? 2) I have a 512KE which is an upgrade from one of the early 128K Macs, so I'm concerned that its power supply isn't up to memory-expansion and/or accelerator boards -- so I'm more interested in ones that add a power supply. Of the ones I know about, only Levco's Prodigy (Prime?), MacMemory's TurboMax, and Novy's board offer/include an extra power supply. What about the others? Of the ones I know about, only Levco's Prodigy (Prime?), I also have one of the early Macs. I can only get my power supply up to ~4.8V (with 1Meg, homebrew) before it folds back. I COULD go to my dealer for a power supply repair (read: swap) and hope for a stiffer one, but I won't until it would really be worth the ~$100. I would really like to add an external 5V supply to my Mac (yes, I know it's an UGLY thought). However, I don't know if any power supply sequencing rules apply. But perhaps there aren't any to speak of (with the power supply oscillating wildly at ~2Hz between supplying current and foldback, no Mac I am aware of has incurred any damage).
