<Excuse me while I have a cardiac arrest...>

I thought MacWEEK was a monthly journal on diskette? For 300 bucks a year,
it must offer more...

What does MacWEEK offer for $300/year exactly?
Is it worth the money?

Thanks in advance,

from this it should be ovious that they don't *REALLY* sell this rag ..(-:

nope, not on diskette, it's a rag like Infoworld, which is sent free
to most industry-people. It is definitely not worth $300 (to me)
but then I must have received, at least, 5 or 6 free offers (no idea
how you get on those magic mailing-lists, other than working in the
computer-field long enough) Of, course, as a weekly you have to pay for
mailing costs - and unless you get it by air, it would not be worth
it probably. (yes, $300 include shipping by air; US rates are $3.50
	cover, $5 sinle back-issue, $75 yearly sub, $150 for Canada/Mexico)
And unless you are interested in the weekly rumour mill
you may not find it worthwhile anyway.

In toto, I'm sad to see MacinTouch disappear, but I'm glad those folks
have found a place where they can make a living - and yes, I find
scanning MacWeek worthwhile during the lunch-break.

I agree. It's worth what I pay for it - $0.

Actually, it's pretty good, but not worth $300 -- even for
a lifetime subscription...

MacWEEK is a weekly newspaper in tabloid form. I imagine mailing
all that paper overseas airmail could get expensive.
