It appears to me that HC doesn't fully support desk accessories. When I fire up a DA, HC doesn't let me put it in the background while I do something to a card. I have to close the DA. I can understand why this might be since a HC card is pre-defined to be the size of a standard Mac screen. But I sure don't like it. One question is, if I have a larger screen (like on a Mac II) can I have both DA and HC windows open simultaneously? Ron

munch... No, on a larger screen HC acts the same way. But you can "trick" HC into letting you keep DA's open. Open your DA, then open the message box or tear off a menu. Click on the message box or torn-off menu. The DA will go in the background (sort of). The only problem with this is if you have a script that closes the message box and/or tear-off menus, the DA will come to the front (and probably screw up the script). Jim Kateley (still no .sig*???)
