I just received by upgrade from MPW2.0b1 to the real MPW 2.0. The only problem is that APDA didn't send out the upgrade for Pascal (the cover letter says it was included, but their customer service people claim they didn't send it to anybody). If I upgrade to MPW 2.0 can I continue to use Pascal 2.0B1, or do I need to wait before I can upgrade at all? By the way, for a Good laugh, read the new APDAlog. It contains an article about how they have changed their ways and won't list ANYTHING in the catalog, unless they have it in stock, ready to ship. It also contains a listing for MPW Pascal 2.0. It also contains an article about how they shipped out MPW (including Pascal) in the beginning of August. Michael Fryd arpa: FRYD@CS.CMU.EDU Why does Apple limit distribution of their development products to an imcompetent organization like APDA. They use single sided disks for 800K copies. They don't seem to verify their copies, and ship disks with formatting errors?

MPW Pascal 2.0 is shipping and has been received here. On the other hand, 2.0.1 is the one without a serious code generation bug, and is due Real Soon Now. Perhaps they sat on the 2.0's when they found out about the bug so they could ship 2.0.1's instead. -- Joel West (c/o UCSD) Palomar Software, Inc., P.O.
