[net.wanted] Project management tools

kemp@noscvax.UUCP (01/04/84)

Help! I am looking for information (hardcopy, if possible) about a package
named "PROMPT" which is rumored to be an INTEGRATED project management
system written in C and implemented on UN*X. My understanding is that the
package is is presently internally distributed to/by/for Bell Labs.
  Can you help?
Also, any INTEGRATED project management systems are of interest, too. Am
specifically interested in Gantt charting, PERT/CPM and Work Breakdown
Structure. "What if" capability is also desirable.
  Thanks in advance,

I'm in charge of a development group of 30-40 people doing
development projects in both hardware and software area.
They all have a UNIX terminal.

I'm looking for UNIX based tools to help me manage this
group of people. Of main interest right now is project
management tools and a tool for resource management.

Does anyone out there know about such tools? Or do I
really have to get myself an IBM PC?
