In theory the system should consist of two BA-11M boxes (H9270 backplanes/H780 power sup) connected with a BCV1B (M9400-YE / M9401 modules) backplane interconnect cable. Unfortunately, when the system is powered up, nothing in the second backplane responds. The system boots ok, but the second backplane seems to be ignored. It doesn't seem to be a problem with the 11/23, since using an 11/03 CPU and 64k memory card doesn't improve the situation. Local PDP wizards & DEC Service are baffled. Normally, he would just make DEC come out and fix it, but he can't get any money from his department this time around, so he has asked me to appeal to any wizards out there in netland. If you have any info that you think might be useful, please MAIL to me and I will forward it to him. Thanks in advance from both of us...
