I gonna reply to two postings because they seem to be having the
	same problem.

>Playing with HyperCard, I came upon the "Art Ideas" stack, which seems

Sounds like you accidently got into "Protect Stack" and protected
you your stack. Check the file menu and see if you can see the
"Protect Stack" selection. If you don't, than your stackis protected
from changing the user level. Hold down the command key while drag
down the File menu. Now you'll see the "Protect Stack" selection.
Once your in the Protect Stack dialog box, you can set it to scripting.
Click 'Okay'. Now you should be able to change the userlevel to
	whatever you'd like.

>I was playing around (er ... *developing*) with an existing stack and
>went in to Protect Stack and set the user level to "Typing." Well, it
>now seems that I can't get back to anything that will let me set the
>user level to scripting once again. Did I blow it??? I tried entering
>the command "set userlevel to 5" in the message box (which seems to be
>accepted) but I still don't have sctipting priviledges. Is there any
>recourse? (If it's in "The Complete HYPERCARD Handbook," I've not
>found it.)

	See above.

	Good Luck,

	Jackie
