TML Pascal 2.5 is due in 'about a month'. Same user interface, but with libraries for Mac II and Mac SE. TML 3.0, with a Turbo Pascal-like environment, is still a ways off. And of course, TML is also selling a IIgs Pascal compiler and about to release the MPW Modula-2. TML 3.0 will use MDS compatible object files. Except, as you all know, it's not the Macintosh 68000 Development System. It's now the Consulair 68000 Development System, since Apple discontinued it and returned the rights to Consulair. -- Joel West {ucbvax,ihnp4}!sdcsvax!jww (ihnp4!gould9!joel once I fix news) jww@sdcsvax.ucsd.edu if you must

Has anyone out there adapted the InitSignals/CatchSignal/FreeSignal/Signal mechanism described in Tech Note 88 for use with TML Pascal? It looks like fun, but I don't own an assembler, let alone MPW... By the way, in the middle of June I sent my master disks in to get the version 2.5 upgrade. Yesterday I called TML to find out what became of them. I was told that the upgrades would be sent out in a week and a half or two weeks. Sit tight, folks... -- Glen Ditchfield {watmath,utzoo,ihnp4}!watrose!gjditchfield Dept of Computer Science, U of Waterloo (519) 885-1211 x6658 Waterloo, Ontario, Canada Office: MC 2006 Nothing in nature is quite so separate as two mounds of expertise-Marvin Harris

Today, the TML phone answerer told me that the Pascal v2.5 upgrades would be sent out at the end of the month. Apparently the information Apple gives them about the Mac II interfaces keeps changing. (And I sent my disks in for the upgrade before Father's Day. Oh, well, at least it is free...) -- Glen Ditchfield {watmath,utzoo,ihnp4}!watrose!gjditchfield Dept of Computer Science, U of Waterloo (519) 885-1211 x6658 Waterloo, Ontario, Canada Office: MC 2006 If you grab the bull by the horns, you at least confuse him -- R.A.Heinlein
