[comp.sys.mac] Sony Monitor Complaints

singer@endor.UUCP (10/02/87)

We've got a Mac II here with a Sony color monitor; I think it's the CPD-1302
model, or something like that.

At any rate, it's AWFUL. The left and right edges of the screen are bowed
inward (toward the center), the whole display is blurry, the edges ripple
terribly. Also, the desktop background is purple instead of black -- I've
set the background pattern to be a 50% blue shade, which is much better,
but the black is still a little off.

Is there something that's not set properly? The switch settings on the back
seem to be OK; the "Analog/Digital" switch is set to "Analog"; I get no
picture if it's set to Digital.

I'm assuming that something internal needs to be adjusted; any ideas?

Thanks in advance...
