[comp.sys.mac] Looking for automated textreader.

Desperate seeking an method for reading in text files.
Something line "thunderscan", not for reading files, but for reading
characters.
Must be automated, so the idea of "omnireader", but probably made to fit
on an Imagewriter (II).
Preferably this packet will output ASCII's for usage with any machine,
but a MAC specific tool will also do (good enough)

I know, I know, only certain  sizes of characters could be read, but
"standard " A4 (US letter?) papers mostly contains normal sized
elite like fonts.

Any help (addresses, prizes, software, hardware) greatly appreciated.
