I want to thank all the people who responded to my initial message about Scholastech's public domain/shareware catalog and our efforts to market low-cost semi-commercial stackware. However, I don't think I was clear as to the level of material we are looking for. Scholastech concentrates its efforts on providing computing resources for colleges and universities only. Though I'm sure that there are a lot of excellent stacks being developed for K-12 use, they won't have much appeal to the people who receive our mailings. We therefore are interested in collecting PD stacks and commercial stacks that would sell for < $30 that could be used in higher education. I'm afraid it doesn't make any sense for us to even attempt to handle materials for a younger audience. If you have anything that you would like to see us distribute, please send me email about it. Our first catalog, which will be a stack itself, will be going out before the end of the year, with semi-annual updates.
