[comp.sys.mac] They're here!

For all that may (Ha!) be interested, MultiFinder (6.0/4.2) IS OUT!!!

Oh yes...so is A/UX...

Pretend that this is a month ago and you want your HyperCard...as soon as
the dealor orders/gets it, he'll HAVE IT to sell/upgrade as the case
may be.

Taint a rumor, tis for REAL - I'm running under 6.0/4.2 RIGHT NOW.

Now if only my Mac II would arrive. . . .

I would be very suprized if A/UX was 'released' yet. We are a beta
site with regular contact inside Apple. Last I heard, two days ago, a
price still hadn't been set, and the target was sometime near the end
of the year. I could be wrong, but I think you are jumping the gun.

Cheers,

Well, if the distribution of MultiFinder to us here in Canada is as
good as HyperCard was, we can expect to see it here just before Christmas.
(HyperCard is only just now becoming available in limited supply here, 2
*months* after it was launched in the US. (of course it was available a month
ago *if* you bought a new Mac.) sigh...)

[Now if only I could find a good, inexpensive 2M upgrade for my Plus that
won't void the warranty...]
