Or are we just supposed to call around the country till some Directory Assistance operator recognizes the name? "Almost" awake indeed. Sheesh. Ellen Keyne Seebacher ...ihnp4!gargoyle!sphinx!see1

Well, I guess you should pinch yourself before posting a sarcastic semi-flame like this. The #, again, is 408-226-3780 - in case it hasn't occured to you to look at the header (granted - the original poster *could* include it in a more prominent fashion than that!) Enjoy. ----------------------------------------------------------- >>>>---------------> khayo@MATH.ucla.edu

Before I get any more letters full of insults --
Several people have informed me that the "Keywords" line in (almost awake)'s
posting gave the number of the
>>New Bulletin board for Macintosh users. ...called "The BackBoard"
--which I said s/he left out of the article.
Since my news reader gives me Article, From, Date, Subject, and Organization
lines, I never saw it. Okay?
Lesson One:
If you have something important to say, say it in the message body.
Lesson Two:
You may call my software "brain damaged," but anyone else who calls ME
that is going to get flamed pretty heavily in return.

Well, some of us us use different interfaces to read news. Those of us using "notes" do not have keyword sections, and the headers are truncated to about 32 characters. If it's important, put it in the body of the note. ---- Dan Crimmins crimmins@uiucuxc.cso.uiuc.edu University of Illinois {ihnp4,pur-ee,convex}!
