I believe that the official name of this LP is simply, "The Beatles." Of course just about everyone in the known universe probably does refer to it as "The White Album." ... uw-june!eli

I have Joachim Berendt's "The Jazz Book", which is sort of a history and encyclopedia of Jazz music. Along the way, he gets into offshoots and descendants of Jazz, including Rock. When I first saw his reference to an album by the Beatles simply titled "The Beatles", it was days before I found out what he was talking about. -Joe P.
