I'm posting this for a friend who can read this group, but
not post:
We are stuck in several places in Shadowgate, and would like
some hints. Hints are perfered, but spoilers will be accepted
if that's not possible! Desperation is setting in. The problems:
1) How do we get by the rockslide by the waterfall?
2) How do we get through the doorway above the collapsing
ledge?
3) There are 3 mirrors in the mirror room. Two can be broken,
the third only cracks. Any way to get by it?
4) We can get by the troll on the bridge, but we aren't
doing it correctly, since we have to get *back* again.
Is there any way of getting rid of him altogether?
5) In the well room, there is a doorway that we can't get
through.
6) We've gotten the golden thorn, but not the 2 sections it
joins together. (The answer to this may be obvious after
we get through 1-5 above.)
The result of all this is that we get nuked in the end game.
