I just upgraded from DiskTop 2.0 to 3.0 because it has the world's bestest file search option (search by file TYPE, CREATOR, modicification or creation dates, name -- or any combination thereof. Yowsah!). And I've upgraded to MultiFinder -- the one that came to Developers (MF 1.0/Finder 6.0/System 4.2 (SIDE NOTE: I still haven't seen it at Apple Dealers -- for all I know they'll release a newer version)). Well, problems. Everytime it reaches the end of a search under MultiFinder -- boom, a bomb. It has also done this occasionally under Finder, but not always. Oh, yeah, and I'm using Suitcase. And running QuicKeys. That should complicate things. All I ask -- has anyone else had these problems? Or am I cursed? "What's G. Gordon Liddy doing in the living room, putting the moves on Mom?" I am running the same software configuration as you (MF, QuicKeys, DiskTop 3.0, SuitCase) plus TMON on my Mac II with 5MB and have not once experienced the crash which you describe. Could there be something else involved? Dennis Cohen Ashton-Tate Glendale Development Center dBASE Mac Development Team
