Boy I'll bet there's just dozens of LSC users out there that can answer this. What is the easiest way to open files in LSC? I'm trying to open binary sound files created with the UCSD cmusic package. (kermited from a main frame) I want to have the nice dialog that is created with SFGetfile, but it only returns the name of the file. When I try to use fopen on that name, it only works if the file is on the same volume. There's gotta be an easy way to do this. The main point of this program is to convert cmusic style sound files to the format used by IMS's Dyaxis recording system. It is a 16 bit stereo sampling system, with software written by Adrian Fried(sp?). (formerly of IRCAM) I hope to add other binary formats into the program such as Sound Designer. Thanks for any advice; the program is public domain if anybody every has a need for this type of thing. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Michael S.
