Currently, I have loads of Clip Art in Picturebase format which takes up a lot of room on my hard drive. Almost all of this art is in bitmap graphics (i.e. MacPaint) format, and smaller than a screen. I understand HyperCard has a marvelous bitmap graphics compression algorithm. With MultiFinder (and a whole lotta memory) I can keep HyperCard sitting around (and do, as a matter of fact), and I'm thinking of moving my art from PictureBase to HyperCard. Question: Will I save room that way? Does anyone know if PictureBase uses any compression algorithms for saving bitmap graphics? TIA (Thanks in advance...)
