Please send me any opinions problems info etc. you might have about Berkely Systems Designs' InLarge program. I have their basic info flyer, so please limit responses to experiences with the product. My mother has a Mac SE at home. My father has limited vision. She is planning on getting InLarge for him - he does write a lot of correspondence (on a manual typewriter at present) - so that he would be able to use the Mac without having problems with the small screen. 1. Does InLarge work? Does it interfere with any other products? 2. Does it allow someone who can ONLY see the enlarged image to learn to use and understand the Mac - or does the enlargement lose too much by not having the entire screen visible at once? 3. Does it require a significant amount of effort to learn? My father is NOT even remotely computer literate and will not be fast at picking it up. I would not consider it worth trying to teach him to use any computer other than the Mac - if filtering the Mac interface through InLarge makes it even somewhat more complicated to use, then this might make the difference between his accepting and using the Mac or going back to his typewriter. Please send me mail giving any comments, info, etc. If anyone else would like to get this information, send me mail. I will send a summary to all requestors either via mail or posting (depending upon demand). -- --------- .signature eater food --------- John Macdonald UUCP: {mnetor, utzoo} !spectrix!jmm internet:Sorry.
