We are in the process of getting our first MAC. It will be used to produce overhead transparencies and figures and charts for making into slides. We already have a HP 7475A plotter which we would like to use for this. Can you recommend and software that can be used for this type of application? As we are MAC-neophytes, any help will be greatly appreciated. --Ted-- -- Ted H. Emigh, Dept. What you need is MacPlottsII from Computershoppe. PO BOX 18344 Greensboro, N.C. 27419 (919)299-4843. I have been plotting from the Mac for a couple of years now & I think this IS THE BEST AVAILABLE. They have two versions, Business (supports only A & B size paper indluding the HP 7475A [serial interface only]) and a drafting version which supports both the small and big birtha plotters. The manual gets a C- but online phone help is exellent. If you have a laserwriter you can print on special transparancy stock & get better quality overhead slides then from a plotter. I have been doing all my presentation slides on one for about a year now & you can really tell the difference. So... for plotting on a Mac get MacPlotts II and a HP Plotter ( the best on the market) No connection with Computter Shoppe but connected to HP printers via my paycheck (buy them plotters!!!)
