I could've swore that at one time somebody at apple, scully, jean ?, said that the stupidy of the system software version numbers was to be fixed. ie: finder 6.0 system 6.0 laser 6.0 etc. But noooo now we have system xx.xx finder yy.yy multifinder zz.zz AND system software aa.aa . The Mac was susposed to be simple why can't the numbering be simple ???

Actually, the LASERWRITER DRIVER is version 5.0.
So that's where it came from ;-{)
Too bad I can't use it, since other "modified" machines from a Certain
Maker can't hold the latest software yet (there's no newer version
yet). Sigh. No background printing for Meeeee.......................bc
