Does anyone know of a terminal emulator for the Mac that supports the copy and transparent print modes of typical terminals. The latest version of Kermit for the PC does do this, but we've found none for the Mac. Red Ryder has a menu command that turns on a copy print mode, but we want one that can be turned on by a program running on the host computer. What this effectively emulates is having a printer hooked to the printer port of a terminal. This way software on the main frame can be written to print to this printer. Its a very useful feature to have and we need it for the Mac. In connection with this, we also need to be able to transmit escape sequences to the printer while in copy print mode so things like bold, underlining, etc., can be turned on at the printer from the mainframe. If anyone knows of such a thing for the Mac, let me know ASAP. Thanx. Peter Steele Acadia Univ.
