Now that MultiFinder and the new System software is widely available many of us on the Net are starting to observe some "peculiarities" with various applications. Just thought I'd pass one along and hopefully save people a phone call. VersaTerm-Pro stores all its screen data in RAM, and hence can be a real memory hog (although it sure updates a screen fast!). If, when running under MultiFinder, you do not increase VT-Pro's memory partition (using the Get Info box), it will automatically scale the graphics screen size to the largest possible with the default memory settings, which is much less than the full screen size for the larger Mac II monitors. If you've got the memory, just play around with the defaults until you give the program enough to fill your screen (as a guide, with a 19", 8-bit color monitor, this requires over 1.25MBytes!). Hope this wasn't already obvious to everyone, since I was thinking of submitting it to MacUser's Tips column!:) (see "Moron's on the Loose"). Kurt Marko {ihnp4,ulysses,...your_fav_gateway}!aluxz!krm
