<This is my third attempt to post this--something keeps eating it?> We have files in WordPerfect format on a PC and need to transfer them to Word on a Mac. We've been using MacLink to do this, but it amounts to converting WordPerfect to Multimate to MacWrite and finally to Word. In the process, a lot is lost, most notably footnotes (in our specific case). WordPerfect can save files in a special DCA format, and Word comes with a program that converts DCA format files to Word format, but when we try this method, Word complains that WordPerfect's DCA format isn't DCA format, so we're out of luck with this as well. Has anyone done this sort of thing with good results? Is there a technique for doing this that doesn't lose so much infomation? We need this urgently. Thanks in advance. Peter Steele Acadia Univ.
