I have some interest in the new 68882 math coprocessor chip. Hopefully, I could (gently) replace the 68881 with the 68882 in the Mac II. Is this reasonable? Are there any compatability problems with the 68881? If there is no problem, would it be possible to order the Mac II with a 68882 or without a 68881? Of course, the other question is whether the 68020 could take advantage of the newer math chip's capabilities.
