My mother is ready to replace her old trs-80, and I am trying to persuade her to get a mac. However, her main use for a computer is in her small law practice, and she is concerned about the availability of legal software, which is quite plentiful for PC compatibles. Does anyone know about legal software for the Macintosh? She is mostly interested in document-based software for writing wills, filling out forms, etc. and not so much in the business end of running a law practice. I appreciate the help! -- Jonathan Traum UUCP: ...!ihnp4!gargoyle!sphinx!tra4 Internet: tra4@sphinx.uchicago.edu "I read the news today, oh boy." -- The Beatles

There are two packages I know of off hand called WillWriter and FastForms that do the things you mention. As far as other legal packages, I really don't know what a lawyer might need that other professions would not. Where to get information? Check the MacConnection ads to find out who makes these things, then look them up in the advertiser's index or call MacConnection - they'll give you the producing company's phone number.
