[comp.sys.mac] Mac audio question

tedj@hpcilzb.HP.COM (Ted Johnson) (12/08/87)

I want to give my Mac 100 watts of vocal power..., which audio input on my stereo
system do I run the Mac audio output to (Tape deck? CD? Turntable?)?

	-Ted

P.S.I would RTFM, but I misplaced it. :-(

DON'T plug it into your turntable (actually PHONO) inputs! An line
level inputs, i.e. tape, cd, aux, tuner, vcr, laser disc, will work just
dandy. Keep the volume on the control panel to 3-4, and don't turn the
stereo too high, those pure computer generated tones can demand LOTS of
power from your amp, and you could easily blow your speakers with the volume
turned up when you turn on your mac (the beep-BOOOM syndrome).
