Here's a problem for you Mac gurus:
I have a file on my hard disk that I can't get rid of. It is a file from
a game that I copied to the hard disk using, I believe, Copy II Harddisk.
It didn't give me any trouble for a while, and then after a full hard disk
restore I did, the problem started.
If I try to move it to the Trash can, when I Shutdown the system,
I get an alert saying something about the file being
"Open or Busy", or maybe "In Use", I can't remember. Anyway, when I boot
up again, the file is back where it came from. I've tried using Copy II
MacTools, but it gives me the same message about being busy when I try to
delete it.
I also get an error about this file everytime I back up the hard disk using
DiskFit.
Any suggestions on how to get rid of this file? I don't care to have it
on the hard disk at all.
Thanks in advance.

Yes, I have had mucho problems with CopyII Harddisk myself. Stopped using it, in fact. Something you could try, boot up from a floppy, then try getting rid of the file. I have had problems trashing some files off my hard disk also, and this method has been successfull so far... -------------------- Ken Wallich *My views are mine, and mine alone* Consultant "Slimey? Try holding down the option key while dragging to the trash. This will get rid of files that "can't be thrown away", "are in use" (ha ha), etc. -- Dan Crimmins crimmins@uxc.cso.uiuc.edu
