MacWEEK, Dec 8th: "Kinetics Inc. has announded the first Ethernet interface card for the Macintosh II...." Gee, we'd better get a bunch of those quick! so we can replaced the ones we've been using here in out Mac II's for the last year or so....

John, while it's clear that MacWeek made another one of their write-before-you-think errors, nonetheless *we* have not had an ethernet board for our Mac II's "... for the past year ...". In fact after waiting 5 months I finally got it last week. I'm still not sure why Kinetics/Excelan decided to market such a product which seems to be a functional equivalent to the EtherTalk, but at $100 more. Does the Kinetics board have DMA and EtherTalk lacking? Kevin Kevin D.
