you can use FEdit+ to edit boot blocks (current version is 1.0.7 I guess) and there you can edit the default system heap sizes. do not use it to write default boot blocks as it writes and old version of the boot blocks. current boot blocks version is 22 I think. this version will not (NOT) work on a vanilla 512.
