With regard to the latest release of Apple Technical Notes, it would appear that tech notes 169, 170, 175 and 178 are unreadable here in Australia. Can some kind soul notify the appropriate moderator that a reposting will probably be necessary rather than simply sending fixed copies to EVERY one down here who asks ... The notes in question are :- 169: Hypercard 1.0.1 Anomalies 170: Hypercard File Format 175: SetLineWidth Revealed 178: Modifying Standard String Comparison Thanx in advance, /-\ from down under ! * * -- John Dillane, johnd@murdu.mu.oz

Can With all the requests for corrupted TechNotes files, I wanted to put it in perspective. All except tn169 came through uncorrupted at my site. This implies that the posting was fine, only the datacomm got munged. Perhaps the reason for all the noise is due to the large number of files posted at once with a couple bad. I don't really think that the failure rate has changed, just gotten more obvoius due to the instantaneous magnitude of the problem. -- Rich Straka ihnp4!ihlpf!straka Advice for the day: "MSDOS - just say no."
