[comp.sys.mac] Macput and Superpaint questions

avalon@UCSCK.UCSC.EDU (Scott A. McIntyre) (12/18/87)

As far as I know, macput and mac get are only accessible with
apple's macTerminal program as it is the only one that I know of that
uses the modem7 protocall.

Macput and Macget require this protocol in order to function correctly.

I have used Kermit with little or no problems when transferring text, but
as for data, I dont know for sure....sorry.

The tool that looks like a rectanlge inside of a rectangle in SuperPaint
is for selectint objects that are on both draw and paint layers.
That is, if you have a box on the draw layer and a fluffy cloud on the
paint, then you must use this tool if you want to select the both of them
for moving or copying, etc....

Make sense?
