We have a research project which requires that 8 analog channels be recorded with a 10 kilohertz bandwidth (>20 khz sampling rate) for approx. 30 seconds. No single A/D converter board I've seen can handle this rate; does anyone know of a fast enough board, or can anyone suggest the easiest way to do this job with multiple boards? 12-bit accuracy is plenty. Thanks, Phil Karn Bell Communications Research

The company I used to work for makes ~50khz A/D converter boards for their series of computer i/o gear. They also make stuff to interface to lots of computers. The company is: Computer Products Inc. Ft. Lauderdale Florida The only office I know the phone number for is (301) 561-3600 in Baltimore Maryland, (where I used to work). They can point you to the right people in Florida to get information from.

I believe that both AMD and TRW make 100 MHz A/D converters. -- Ken Turkowski @ CADLINC, Palo Alto, CA UUCP: {amd, decwrl, dual, flairvax, nsc}!turtlevax!ken ARPA: turtlevax!ken@DECWRL.ARPA
