Does anyone know why Rodime hard drives will not work with third pary add-on (to a 512E) SCSI ports (specifically Dove)? Are there any other hard drives out there with the same problem?

The problem was that the wrong drive was shipped. It was apparently for internal (company) use only. Anyway: comments on hard drives - specifically Rodime vs. Warp 9 vs. Jasmine ? I've heard lots of good stuff about Jasmine but they are also the most expensive.
