[comp.sys.mac] Question about Apple Installer and Hard Disks

lyman@aurora.UUCP (Lyman Taylor) (01/08/88)

Recently I placed a copy of the System Tools' ( version 5.0 )
installer program on my hard disk and try to install an updated system
onto a floopy. To my surprise this turn into a unproductive attempt to avoid
the *half-hour* disk shuffle that occurs when you try to update with only
one disk drive. When the installer starts its attempt to figure disk space
sizes it stops and displays the message:

Resource Error -192 finding DRVR Scrapbook for "Macintosh... "

Is there some hidden file that can't be copied from the desktop?

	Configuration:
SE with internal HD and ONE disk drive.

	Thanks in advance

P.S. Please no flames about resource inefficient the installer is, I think
that is plainly evident to everyone.
