[comp.sys.mac] Apple's Annual Stockholders Report as HC-stack from 1-800-538-9696

kraut@ut-emx.UUCP (Werner Uhrig) (01/06/88)

the HyperCard-stack is supposed to be impressive!

this was mentioned in this week's "Computer Chronicles" on PBS ...
I have not gotten through to the number yet, but I understand it to be
available free and in limited quantities ....

BTW, remember that I gave the BUY-signal in late November for Apple stock?

well, by buying options you could have doubled your money in less than
a month ....Apple's stock rose from ~30 to ~45

This number cannot be called from the 408 area code (or so the operator
informed me), is there a local number, or will it be added to the AHUG
stacks?

For the people who asked me about AHUG:

HUG, Aplle Hypercard User's Group meets in Cupertino
California at Apple. It is a user's group just for
HyperCard. They have a large number of stacks on
a file server, but you must come to the meeting to
get them as they have no plans to distribute them.

AHUG puts out the newsletter windoid.

Apple said: "expect delivery in 4 to 6 weeks", but maybe someone
picked it up at the show in SF..... however, I suspect it will be
too large to post - besides, I don't think it would be proper to
	post, anyway ...

I don't understand why you say it would not be proper to post ?? If it is
too large that is one thing, but certainly and annual report and 10-K
reports are public information ! Why not let others have access to it ?
The only reason I can think of that Apple would limit distribution is
because of distribution costs.
